About Me:

My name is Brandon Finley, and I reside in Woodinville, Washington with my husband, Jacob, daughter, Maddie, and our two dogs, Buddy and Pepper. I moved to Woodinville last year from Bothell and have thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming small-town atmosphere. I graduated from Redmond High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. With a passion for aviation that began in my youth, I have built a rewarding career as a flight attendant, which has spanned over 20 years. I am working to unionize my airline's flight attendants to advocate for better pay, benefits, and working conditions. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. I also love wine tasting at many of the local wineries here in Woodinville.

Why I am running for City Council:

I am running for City Council because I believe in creating a sustainable and thriving community for all Woodinville residents. My key priorities are ensuring that everyone has access to safe and affordable housing. We need to explore creative solutions to meet the housing demands of our growing population while supporting diverse and inclusive neighborhoods. As our city grows, we must invest in our infrastructure (roads, public transportation, and utilities) to support our residents effectively. We must prioritize upgrades and maintenance to ensure our infrastructure can meet current and future needs. I also believe in protecting our natural resources and sensitive environmental areas which are vital for maintaining the beauty and health of our community. I will advocate for policies that ensure sustainable development practices while preserving our local ecosystems for the future. I will work diligently to ensure that our city's growth rate does not outpace our ability to provide essential services and support. Balancing development with the city’s capacity to maintain a quality of life for all residents is crucial. By serving on the City Council, I hope to contribute to a vision that prioritizes these important issues.
